My focus in my first term as Mayor of Shreveport has been to create a plan for and act upon Shreveport’s needs to protect and grow our city. I am fulfilling my campaign promises, and there is more to do.
I understand our priorities. My strategic plan includes clear priorities and manageable milestones centered around six core initiatives:
Block by Block Initiative
Millions of pounds of trash and litter removed.
Economic Development
High-profile economic development deals secured.
Pro-Business
Barriers to business eliminated with new pro-business initiatives.
Development
City engagement and responsiveness to businesses and organizations streamlined.
Youth
Recreation and education opportunities expanded for children and young teens.
Bond project priorities and progress:

- Rehabilitating streets and improving city assets
Pursuing these initiatives in collaboration with our business and volunteer communities and staying the course with the plan has helped boost economic opportunity and make our city more resilient with an enhanced quality of life.
